Domino's Pizza Warrington Talent Winner Lucie Evans wins national competition.

Lucie Evans winner of 'Domino's Pizza Warrington Talent' held last year live in front of thousands of Warrington Wolves fans has gone on to scoop a £100,000 first prize in the national online talent competition 'Click to Fame' which was sponsored by Tesco Digital.

Lucie's prize for winning last year's Warrington Talent competition was a session at Tuff Gong Studios where she recorded four songs. Domino's Pizza made a video of each for their Warrington store website where Lucie's legion of fans could vote for their favourite.

The fans picked Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and Lucie entered this into the 'Click to Fame' competition by uploading it to their web site. It was an instant hit and since February has had tens of thousands of views. Last night at the award ceremony Lucie picked up a cheque for £20,000 and is now in discussions with the sponsors to work out how to spend the other £80,000 on building her career.

Mr & Miss Warrington Guardian Launch New Domino's Pizza in Great Sankey

Hungry customers in West Warrington are set to have their appetites satisfied with the opening of a new Domino’s Pizza store in Great Sankey. The store on Liverpool Road, run by local franchisee Peter Thompson, opened its doors to the public on November 21, 2008. Among the first customers were none other than Mr & Miss Warrington Guardian, Ryan Farrington and Brogan Backhouse who turned up to sample the delicious piping, hot fresh pizza on offer. Rumours were abound that members of the Warrington Wolves, sponsored by Domino’s, were also amongst the store’s first customers.

Peter Thompson said: “I’m delighted to be opening another Warrington store and I’m looking forward to delivering fantastic pizzas to all the local residents, along with great side dishes like chicken kickers with hot sauce, garlic pizza breads and chocolate brownies. As an additional bonus, the store has created 20 new jobs in the area.

“Domino’s is a great way to treat the family to a night in, without the hassle of having to cook! Our extensive range of pizzas includes firm favourites like the Pepperoni Passion and Veggie Supreme as well as the chance for people to create their own from a whole host of toppings.
